‘Unfortunately we are not going to see Khama anytime soon’: Zwane

DStv premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach Arthur Zwane has gave an injury update on the former Warriors forward Khama Billiat who has been on the sidelines since last year November.

Billiat sustained an ‘undisclosed’ injury before the 2022 World Cup tournament that was held in Qatar in November.

Providing Billiat’s latest injury update, Zwane told the media: “Unfortunately we are not going to see Khama [Billiat] anytime soon.

“He is still struggling [with an injury], so we are still waiting for the doctors report and we will take it from there.”

The Zimbabwean international is yet to feature for Chiefs after the World Cup break which ended a few weeks back.

He has missed quite a number of Chiefs’ fixtures including last week’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of his former pay masters Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 32-year-old has only managed 11 appearances this season, missing nine games due to nagging injuries.

He is yet to find the back of the net this campaign but has provided four assists.
