Beverly quits dancing after Magaya prophecy
HARARE – Fans of raunchy dancer Beverly ‘Bev’ Sibanda will have to find a suitable replacement after she announced that she was quitting the scene following a prophecy from her spiritual father Prophet Walter Magaya of the Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries (PHD).
According to reports Prophet Magaya used a Sunday service at the PHD headquarters in Waterfalls, Harare to tell Beverly to stop dancing in pubs and promised to help her open a clothing shop in the capital.
“I was at home with my manager (Harpers Mapimhidze) when I received a phone call from Prophet Magaya’s aides advising me to attend the church service. We drove to Waterfalls where I was advised to stop dancing in pubs and beer halls. Prophet Magaya said he was going to help me open a clothing shop in the CBD.
“Apart from that, Prophet Magaya said his team has since purchased a container from China with the clothes I am going to sell. I cried because I never anticipated it from the Man of God. I also asked myself why he chose me front the entire congregation,” narrated Beverly.
“To be honest, I have quit dancing and I am now serving my Lord God. I can’t afford to oppose the man of God’s prophecy. I started attending church a fortnight ago and I feel blessed. I am now a new creature and I hope to continue serving my Lord. I was astray but I am now saved thank God for his love.”
Her manager said, “I was there when it all happened and I just want to thank the Man of God for saving Beverly. I have managed her for over the years and I felt she needed God as well. I am happy for her as she is set to start a new business and continue serving the Lord God. She is now a God fearing creature.”
