Cynthia Mare rocks Sean Paul UK gig
Last week Thursday night saw Zimbabwean RnB singer Cynthia Mare performing as a curtain raiser for Jamaican dancehall sensation Sean Paul in Bristol at the O2 Academy in the UK.
Cynthia told us the night “was fantastic” with the O2 “packed to the brim with British fans who had come to catch a glimpse of the Sean! I started my set by playing my keyboard and singing my own version of Gyptian’s hit, Hold Ya.”
Cynthia says “the crowd loved the surprise and sang along. The screams were deafening! I then sang my up-tempo song ‘I could be your girl”. Soon after she asked the crowd if they were ready to see Sean to which they screamed ‘Yes.’
“I then sang I’m still in love by Sean Paul which set the crowd screaming again. I finished my set with my reggae, acoustic version of Catch me when I fall. Live guitars were played by Steve Wellington who plays on the original song.”
