BULAWAYO – The legion of supporters for Bulawayo giants Highlanders have taken to social media platforms to express their frustrations with the Premier Soccer League (PSL), threatening a boycott of their team’s upcoming matches.
The fans are angry after a US$6,000 fine was imposed on Bosso by the PSL following crowd trouble during a recent match against Simba Bhora at Wadzanayi Stadium in Shamva.
Despite both teams being fined, Bosso fans feel that the punishment is ‘unfair’ and the PSL is targeting their team.
As a result, the fans have organised a boycott of their team’s matches, including Sunday’s clash against ZPC Kariba at Barbourfields Stadium.
They have planned to attend a certain entertainment gig at the Bosso Club House set to be held on the same day.
In emphasising their boycott, they have clearly stated their attendance to the gig is meant to fundraise the money that will help cover the US$6,000 fine.
