SOUTH AFRICA – AmaZulu made easy pickings of United FC in the Nedbank Cup last 32, but captain Tapuwa Kapini is not satisfied and wants to play at this year’s final.

The last time Usuthu played in a cup final was in what is now referred to as the Telkom Knockout, which they won it back in 1992.

They are three matches away from this year’s decider but they have to find a way around fellow Premier Soccer League side Bidvest Wits, who beat them in the league last month, in the last 16 of the competition.

“They (Wits) are always a hard working team so we need to prepare well, (because) they’ve gone three matches without a losing,” Kapini told his club’s website.

“We have to have the belief that we can beat them while also being cautious of the fact that they beat us in cup competitions before.

“Every player in the team knows what is needed, going forward so it’s all going to boil down to hard work. It’s each and every player’s dream to play in a final so we have to do our best now,” he added. Football411.com
