An intended electoral reform march bringing together political parties turned violent when police defied a High Court order to let the demonstration proceed.

In an alert, RTUZ said Siziba was snatched from the protesting crowds and driven away in a silver Toyota Corola registered as ABA 9705 near Fidelity Life Tower in the city centre.

“His abductors have taken possession of his mobile phone and a voice recording of one of the male abductors is now available,” reads the RTUZ alert.

It continues: “We will be writing to the UN (United Nations), SADC and AU (African Union) demanding that Mugabe accounts for Gift Ostallos Siziba’s whereabouts.” Nehanda Radio
