Zimbabwe Wall of Shame

He might be well known for being the butt of many jokes that mock his broken English and sometimes clownish behaviour but the newly-elected Buhera South MP Joseph Chinotimba (Zanu PF) has left a trail of violence, rape and murder that exposes him to be nothing but a deadly clown.

Today we add President Robert Mugabe’s spokesman George Charamba to the Zimbabwe Wall of Shame. In 2004 the Permanent Secretary in the Information Ministry, bashed his wife Rudo in what was described as an attempt to kill her.

The new Vice President Kembo Mohadi was implicated in the 1999 murder of Lutheran World Federation employee Strover Mutonhori and has since then used his control of the police (as Home Affairs Minister) to kill off any investigations into the case.

MWENEZI - His first name means ‘the will of God’ but Kudakwashe Basikiti, the ZANU PF MP for Mwenezi East, led and participated in vicious acts of political violence in Zimbabwe that left dozens dead and hundreds displaced in his constituency.

MUDZI - A shocking You Tube video exposes the murderous role of Zanu PF's MP for Mudzi North, Milton Kachepa (also known as Newton in other reports). The MP was filmed in 2012 warning MDC-T supporters that Zanu PF doesn’t just ‘kill’ but ‘destroys.’

SHAMVA - A comprehensive dossier exposes Zanu PF Shamva North MP, Nicholas Tasunungurwa Goche, as having led violent and murderous campaigns in his constituency that led to the deaths of dozens of opposition activists and serious injury to hundreds.

MUZARABANI - Last year in June, Chief Changara Kasekete of Muzarabani, was officially given an electrified three bedroomed (six roomed) house which was built by United Family International Church (UFIC) leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

Christopher Mutsvangwa, the former director of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation unleashed a reign of terror in Norton after losing to an MDC-T candidate in 2008. Several opposition activists died at the hands of terror mobs he personally directed.

The Zanu PF MP for Mudzi West, Aqualinah Katsande easily goes onto the Zimbabwe Wall of Shame. Between April and June 2008 she orchestrated a reign of terror that left many people with terrible stories to tell about her brutality.

The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Didymus Mutasa, led violent political campaigns in his Headlands constituency and other parts of the country. As a former Minister responsible for the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) he often used its agents.
