CHIREDZI – Chiredzi Depot Business Unit manager, Innocent Gukwe (35), bought two trucks and registered them in the name of Regis Chivaura. Gukwe using his position would give the trucks frequent contracts and facilitate prompt payments and got a total of US$122 421.47 from Cottco.
“No cattle or goats should be transported at night, police should capture all those they find transporting livestock during the night and release them in the morning to travel during daylight hours,” said National Police Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi.
CHIREDZI – Former Chiredzi town chairman, Francis Moyo was arrested for allegedly diverting 50 commonage stands to his personal use thereby prejudicing Government of US$60 000.
