HARARE - A nearly half a billion dollar contract for cancer treatment equipment between the Zimbabwean government and a South African company owned by controversial tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivayo has ignited a major controversy, with critics alleging widespread corruption and a blatant disregard for public procurement procedures.
