South Africa based Zimbabwean media personality Tino Chinyani and actress Simphiwe ‘Simz’ Ngema have revealed that their child will be a boy, during a lavish all-white baby shower and gender reveal.
The pair, who already have one son together, held the ceremony at an unspecified venue in South Africa.
It was reportedly only attended by their close family and friends.
Tino and Simz welcomed their first child in June 2020 and subsequently released an EP dedicated to their son.
“The EP is named after Tiyane. For me everything I do is for him. I pray that boy realises how much he’s been blessed to have parents like us and I want that legacy to speak true when he comes of age. Family will always be a priority to me,” Tino previously told TshisaLIVE.
“I’ve always wanted to be a present father. I’ve always wanted to be a great dad. It’s what I’ve always wanted to be known for, and I’ve always wanted to excel at that role. With me and my dad, we’ve had a great relationship,” he said.
Tino also revealed how much the birth of his son had impacted him.
“With his teaching and his wisdom, it came naturally with Tiyane. Tiyane is so easy to be around. He’s got such a sense of humour. He’s so pleasant and the greatest ball of energy. Even when you’re exhausted, he still gives you a reason to smile.”
