“It was true love”… DJ Levels opens up on relationship with singer Shashl

HARARE – Talented Chillspot Records producer Levels has spoken on his relationship with musician Shashl, saying that although he does not believe in marriage, he had truly loved the songbird while they were together.

The relationship between Levels and Shashl, who were together between 2021 and 2022, ended acrimoniously after he was accused of leaking a tape of the two of them involved in intimate acts.

The Chillspot producer, whose real name is Rodger Tafadzwa Kadzimwe, was later charged with allegedly transmitting intimate images without his lover’s consent.

Prior to that act, DJ Levels allegedly followed his ex-lover to Pabloz nightclub, a popular joint in Borrowdale, with the intention to mend their relationship, but Shashl spurned his overtures.

It was further alleged that after failing to convince Shashl to reconcile, DJ Levels threatened her with unspecified actions, saying she would regret her decision.

In an interview with DJ Ollah 7, Levels said that although he was not a believer in marriage, he had truly loved the singer.
