Scotland FC star Denver Mukamba reportedly gets US$2k for netting brace

Former Zimbabwe Warriors captain Denver Mukamba reportedly received a whooping US$2,000 bonus for netting a brace when his new club Scotland FC beat Trojan Mine 3-1 recently.

A report by H-Metro quotes a club source revealing that: “Denver is smiling all the way to bank after his explosive start to life in Division One.

“Two thousand dollars isn’t the kind of money that even the best of the PSL earners get for winning a game, let alone for scoring two goals.”

“But, even in his wildest dreams, Denver never thought that his start to life in Division One with his two goals and the rich pickings he received from his new club.

Mukamba joined Scotland at the end of last month (April) after signing as a free agent on an undisclosed deal.

The former CAPS United midfielder has been unattached after being offloaded by Dynamos upon the expiration of his contract in December 2023.

Scotland who are competing in the Northern Region Division One, are owned by Mabvuku legislator and businessman Scott Sakupwanya.

The 45-year old gold dealer is also part of the 2024 Scotland FC squad after being registered following completion of his paperwork at the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

However, he is yet to make his debut for his Mabvuku based side.
