Embattled American rap mogul, P Diddy’s accusers look set to have their say in front of a federal grand jury, with indications that the US Justice Department is set to charge the Bad Boy boss.
Possible witnesses have been notified by investigators that they could be brought in to testify in front of a federal grand jury in New York City, according to one CNN source.
Bringing individuals who have filed civil lawsuits against Diddy before a grand jury would mark a significant escalation in the government’s ongoing investigation involving the producer and Bad Boy Records founder.
Combs has been named named in eight civil suits since November — including seven directly accusing him of sexual assault.
One of the lawsuits, filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, was settled just one day after filing.
A video of the rap mogul severely assaulting Cassie has since emerged, with Diddy issuing an apology for his behaviour.
Another of the lawsuits accused Diddy’s son Christian of sexual assault, and Combs of aiding and abetting. The feds are taking their time to ensure the case against Diddy is “bulletproof,” one source noted. Daily Mast
