Twist to Drama: Edward Sadomba or his wife Sherlynn, who is abusing who?

HARARE – There is a new twist in the former Dynamos forward Edward Sadomba’s marital woes with his wife Sherlynn.

Recent reports claimed the former Al Hilal star was the abusive spouse in his ‘complicated’ marriage to Sherlynn.

But according to fresh information unearthed by H-Metro on Friday, the ex-footballer is the one who is enduring emotional abuse from his wife and her family.

The issue has taken a surprising turn as the state owned tabloid newspaper suggest Sadomba is the “victim”.

As reported, it appears Sadomba has been experiencing emotional abuse for the past two years in his marriage.

However, it still remains unclear who is abusing who between the two.

On Thursday, H-Metro also reported that Sherlynn “approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order” against the father of his children.

Furthermore, the publication suggested that Sherlynn is accusing Sadomba of being “abusive towards her”.

The newspaper claims “Sadomba and Sherlynn have been living in the same double-story upmarket house at Pokugara Estate in Borrowdale, but on different wings, with the former footballer staying on the first floor while his estranged wife stays on the ground floor.”

“Seven months have now passed since the last time Sadomba had a meal at home because he is afraid that his food could be poisoned because of the toxic nature of the situation at his house.

“The former football star was forced to burn all his clothes after he suspected some of the clothes “had been poisoned” because “they had a funny smell,” and he had to buy an entire wardrobe of new clothes.”

Reports indicate they have been attending counselling sessions seeking to deal with the matter.

But despite ‘several’ counselling sessions, it looks like the matter has gone out of hand and their marriage is on the verge of collapsing.

Sadomba and Sherlynn met and started dating back in 2001 before getting married in 2008.

They saw each other in Mbare where Sadomba resided while Sherlynn used to visit her grandmother.
