Just as Nehanda Radio reported, for example, several supporters vowed to protest the Politburo decision to cushion embattled Secretary for Administration Didymus Mutasa by barring his rival Christopher Chingosho in Headlands.

Zanu PF claims that delays in printing ballot papers have forced the postponement of their primary elections but reliable sources told Nehanda Radio the party wanted time to engage aggrieved party members who have besieged its headquarters demanding a chance to stand.

Earlier in the day our citizen reporters confirmed seeing Zanu PF supporters protesting against the imposition of candidates.

Some of the placards read: “we want 50/50 coz musha mukadzi- we want 50-50 cause a home is a woman”, “Toda MP watakazvisarudzira- We want an MP we have chosen”, “We want democracy” and many others.
