Madzore who was also released over the same charges a few weeks ago said even if Mugabe’s regime continued to use dirty tactics to frustrate the MDC-T activists the 88 year old geriatric was going to lose elections as he did in 2008.

Addressing the crowd outside Harvest House, Youth Assembly Secretary General Promise Mkwananzi emphasised the importance of fighting on and finishing off the system to end ‘this continued injustice’.

Mkwananzi urged the party to continue fighting for the release of the remaining 5 activists who are still to be granted bail. He also accused Justice Chinembiri Bhunu and prosecutor Edmore Nyazamba of politicising the case.

He lashed out at Zanu PF for taking the Judiciary system ‘into the intensive care’ and said the Youth Assembly will continue with the fight  to make sure that the persecution of attending court four days every week ends immediately. Nehanda Radio
