Prominent businessman Mr Frank Buyanga Sadiqi has filed an urgent chamber application at the High Court seeking the court to order the Zimbabwe Republic Police Commissioner General Mr Godwin Matanga and the Ministry of Home Affairs to effect a warrant of arrest issued against his baby mother Chantelle Muteswa.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is pursuing three Beitbridge brothers who are accused of killing another villager in Mawale area on Saturday following a misunderstanding after a soccer tournament.

A total of 485 people were arrested countrywide yesterday as police cracked down on Zimbabweans who have been wantonly disregarding the 21-day lockdown that requires them to stay at home.

Police here have arrested a syndicate of alleged criminals who stole 38 solar panels worth $280 000 from communal farmers and irrigation schemes in the province.
