Police in South Africa are still searching for convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester after DNA tests revealed that the charred body found in a Bloemfontein prison last year was not his.

Harare City and Pokugara Properties bosses who were jointly accused of malicious damage to property were on Thursday acquitted of any wrong doing by a Harare Regional magistrate Mrs Florence Chakanyuka at the close of the State’s case.

Emelda Marizani, the Chivhu woman who admitted she slit the throats of her four children with a knife, has been found guilty on four counts of murder. She will be sentenced on the 24th of March 2023.

The Harare Magistrates Court on Tuesday tried to force the commencement of the trial of opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Vice Chairman Job Sikhala without his lawyers but he refused to speak.
