HARARE – Zimbabwe national team superfan Adomsi Mukwasi Makosi expressed his delight after his 18-year-old son, Adam, delivered a scintillating performance at the 2025 Sunningdale 6-Team Invitational Tournament held in Harare last week.
Adam’s outstanding displays throughout the tournament earned him the coveted Player of the Tournament award.
It’s the award that brought a smile on his father’s face as well as immense pride.
Reacting to his son’s achievement, Makosi, a passionate supporter of both the national team and Dynamos said:
“I would like to thank God that my son received this prestigious accolade. My hope is to see him succeed through football and build a life for himself, just like the stars we passionately support.”
Makosi, who also serves as the Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Soccer Supporters Association (ZSSA), added that his ultimate dream is to watch his son play top flight football soon.
“My wish is to see Adam play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) anytime soon,” he said.
A proud father of four boys, Makosi also revealed all his children are gifted athletes.
He said one of his sons is already making notable strides in cricket.
