Two years after promotion Simba Bhora crowned kings of Zimbabwean football

Simba Bhora have taken the Premier Soccer League (PSL) title to Shamva for the first time in Zimbabwean football history after officially being crowned the champions on Wednesday.

The team defeated Arenel Movers 1-0 at Luveve Stadium on Wednesday to clinch the championship with two games to spare in the 2024 season.

Simba Bhora’s captain Walter Musona was the goal scorer.

He netted in the 6th minute to seal the victory and secure the championship for the Shamva based side.

Simba Bhora have achieved this feat just two years after their promotion to the top flight league.

The Simba ‘Buju’ Ndoro owned side was promoted from the Northern Region Division One League in 2023.

HARARE - Premier Soccer League (PSL) newcomers Scottland FC are edging closer to the promised land. This comes after title contenders Simba Bhora suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to CAPS United at their Wadzanayi Stadium fortress in Shamva on Saturday, their first home loss of the season.

HARARE - Premier Soccer League (PSL) title contenders Scottland FC have dismissed social media allegations suggesting they intend to buy the league title from Simba Bhora, a club also sponsored by Scottland owner Scott Sakupwanya.
