GABORONE – Botswana-based Zimbabwean businessman Tendani Sebata has sent his best wishes to Zimbabwean champions Simba Bhora ahead of their crucial CAF Champions League clash against Eswatini’s Nsingizini Hotspurs on Sunday at Somhlolo Stadium.
Sebata recently hosted Simba Bhora for two days at his club Black Lions’ base in Gaborone before their trip to Eswatini.
Speaking to Nehanda Radio in an interview, Sebata said “Wishing Simba Bhora the best of luck for their second round until the finals. We want the CAF Cup in Zimbabwe.”
Simba Bhora take a one-goal advantage into the second leg after last Sunday’s 1-0 victory in Francistown.
They need to avoid a defeat to advance to the next stage, where they will face the winner between Gaborone United and Tanzania’s Simba SC.
Reflecting on the tie, Simba Bhora coach Joel Luphahla cautioned:
“The return leg is not going to be easy. We have to prepare ourselves mentally and make sure we concentrate on the match, not the result we got today, because it will be a whole different game.”
Nsingizini coach Mandla Qhogi also issued a warning:
“It’s not over. They must come ready for the second leg because we will dig deep. We are going to make it difficult for them — we are really determined.”
