French Ligue 1: Munetsi on target as Reims defeat Kadewere’s Nantes 2-1

France based Zimbabwe international duo of Marshall Munetsi and Tino Kadewere’s clubs, Stade Reims and FC Nantes respectively, locked horns in a French Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday.

Munetsi was one of the scorers as the visitors came from behind to win 2-1, thanks to Nakamura’s last gasp winner.

Augusto broke the deadlock, scoring for Nantes in the 28th minute, thrusting the hosts into the lead.

Six minutes later, Warriors midfielder, Munetsi replied and his 34th minute goal off a header leveled matters.

Munetsi has scored five times using the head in his last six goals for Reims.

Meanwhile, Warriors forward Prince Dube’s goal was the difference when Young Africans defeated CBE SA FC 1-0 in the CAF Champions League.

The match was played on Saturday at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Furthermore, former Warriors captain Knowledge Musona also found the net when his new club Al-Okhdood lost 3-1 to Damac FC in the Saudi Pro League.

Musona opened his Okhdood scoring account in the 73rd minute after being introduced as a second half substitute.
