“The Wife” actor Sipho Ndlovu has been accused of assault by his girlfriend, Thandeka Mhlanga, who claims that the heartthrob got physical with her after she caught him cheating with another woman.
Mhlanga claimed she had driven to Ndlovu’s place on Saturday, after she grew suspicious when he bade her goodnight earlier than usual. Her suspicions grew when he stopped taking her calls and she had finally decided to pay a visit to his place unannounced.
Once there, she claimed, she had caught him with a woman who he was having an affair with.
“When he finally answered my call, he pretended to be sleeping but I could hear that he was not in bed,” she told Zimoja.
“I then drove to his place and when I arrived there, the security refused to let me in until I forcefully let myself inside the estate. He blocked me from entering the house and he slapped me and pushed me to the ground before throwing me out,” she said.
Mhlanga claimed that she found out the actor was cheating on her recently when she went through his Instagram account.
“He was drunk and I made sure that I went through all his social media pages, where I found out that he was flirting with a lot of girls. I asked him about all of this and he apologised.
“We let it go because he promised to stop. At that time, he was busy asking me to move in with him. I wasn’t ready to stay with him full-time,” she said.
Mhlanga claimed she had opened an assault case at the Cosmo City Police Station but she was still waiting for a case number. Meanwhile, Ndlovu said he was also opening a case of his own, as Mhlanga was a trespasser.
“I have the videos and the security can attest to the fact that she came in forcefully with no code,” he said.
