Mai TT’s rival Patricia Jack arrested in midnight raid on her home by police

HARARE – Prominent socialite Patricia Jack was arrested following a midnight raid on her home by law enforcement officials at the instigation of former friend turned rival, the comedienne Mai TT.

Jack, who has been involved in several online battles with one-time friend Mai TT, was arrested over allegations of cyber bullying.

Spearheaded by law enforcement officials in the company of private investigator Tafadzwa Chidawa, the late night arrest of Jack unfolded on Facebook Live, where the socialite chose to broadcast her ordeal.

In a dramatic encounter watched by hundreds, police officers decided to scale the wall around Jack’s home after she refused to give them entry when they rang her intercom.

During the live broadcast, the officers threatened to break down her door, to which Jack defiantly responded.

After a heated exchange, Jack eventually opened her door, and the officers arrested her, expressing frustration over the delay.

Jack has been embroiled in a number of disputes with fellow socialite Mai TT in recent months.

Prior to her arrest, Jack went live on Facebook, accusing Mai TT of defrauding her lover of US$30000, claiming the socialite had promised lucrative tenders to her lover but failed to deliver, leading to a fallout.

In turn Jack accused Mai TT of being behind the leak of her daughter’s nude pictures.
