HARARE – Controversial social media personality Mai TT has revealed the identity of the man in her life, disclosing that they have been together for the last three years.
This is the first time Mai TT has revealed her love interest after divorcing her ex-husband, Tinashe Maphosa.
In a Facebook post, Mai TT said her man, who she only referred to as Shumba, was tired of being loved in secret.
“Hanzi naShumba 2 years ndichijirwa musaga handichade ndakuda kubuda musaga manje saka tine page ratichakupay ramuchatevera nhaika muchiona henyu our Journey.
“November will be 3 years together ende ava havo kwavanoenda hako hapana ndakaisa iri barbed wire chaiyo 😂😂😂. Ndandamboti ayiwa garai kuseri but vati asi unezvaurikuvanza saka ayiwa Shumba kuvanhu 😂😂😂” she posted.
Mai TT’s revelation that they would be soon celebrations led to questions about whether her romantic partner had been present while she was with Maphosa.
Maphosa and Mai TT tied the knot in April 2022 but called it quits less than three months later.
However despite the acrimonious end to their union last year, Maphosa led a fundraising campaign for Mai TT when she faced fraud allegations which eventually led to her being sentenced to nine months in prison.
