Turkish Super Lig club Konyaspor FC have unveiled Zimbabwean defender Teenage Hadebe after his departure from the MLS side Houston Dynamo.
The Zimbabwe national team vice-captain is back in Turkey after formerly playing for Yeni Malatyaspor before leaving for Dynamo in 2021.
An excited Hadebe declared; “New Goals – New Ambitions – New Targets @konyaspor Let’s Get Started ⚽️🙌🏻.”
Hadebe became a free agent in December 2023 after his departure from Dynamo.
His arrival is seen as a crucial boost to Konyaspor’s fight against relegation.
The Fahrudin Omerovic’s coached side currently sit second-from-bottom on the table with 22 points after 24 matches.
Hadebe brings experience from his previous stint in Turkey and spells with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs as well as Highlanders, Chicken Inn, and Bantu Rovers.
