Highlanders striker Prince Dube said they have since shifted focus to their Match Day encounter at home against CAPS United as he targets to end the goal drought his team experienced last season.

The returning Dube said he wants to score in every game he is going to feature and targets a double figure by mid-season.
“I don’t want to put much pressure on myself. But I want to try my best to make sure that I don’t let down those who believe in my ability.
“They have high expectations for me. More goals are coming from me. I am going to be banging goals like never before.
“I want to achieve something at Highlanders. I am hoping for a fruitful season in black and white,” said Dube.
Dube came on as a second half substitute in their 1-1 draw against Black Rhinos in their opening fixture of the season.
He said they did not start their campaign the way they expected but said they have the power to turn around the situation.
“Now that we are training together as a team, without any disturbances. That means a bomb is in the making.
“We will be unstoppable as we resume our campaign in match day two. Our main objective is to avoid dropping points in the early stages of the season.
“We have a much stronger squad that can challenge for the honors,” said Dube who did not hide his ambitions of making it on the 2019 calendar.
He said they are a strong team to collect maximum points from and they shouldn’t be judged with what happened in their pre-season camp.
“Yes we did not train as much as other teams did. But look at us now, we did not go five goals down and neither did we lost our opener.
“We actually picked a vital point away from home, which is not so bad,” he added. H-Metro
