Joe Local has titled his album Kuseri Kwacho and has seven tracks expected to reintroduce him into the music scene.

According to the musician, Macheso will be among his big invited heavy weights.

“It’s a date; the sungura ace is coming to grace my album launch and maybe pass on a few notes.

“His handler Tichaona Makahamadze has even suggested we have the launch on a Wednesday so that Baba Shero attends the event without any pressure,” said Joe Local.

Joe Local also took time to dismiss rumours that he parted ways with Sulu.

“Some people are wondering whether Sulu and I are on talking terms or not after noticing that I have moved to push my own career.

“Nothing is wrong between us, we are still family and he has even sent me as part of his advance at a show he will soon perform,” he said.

The musician added:

“I don’t need to invite Sulu to the launch because he is part of the project.

“As you can tell, my album is titled Kuseri Kwacho and it means if you flip a coin on the other side you will see that behind me there is Sulu.”

Kuseri Kwacho was recorded by Norman Tapambwa at his Live Sounds Studios in Unit K in Chitungwiza.

Several other musicians and promoters are also expected to be part of Joe Local’s second coming.

The singer had his first project Mhoroyi Mhoroyi which came in 2010.

He owes his musical journey to Bigie Chinoperekwei, Mai Rusere, Cossy Rules, Blessing Jecha, Madzibaba Moses of Machipisa and Simon Sadomba who made this project a success. H-Metro
