UK based Zimbabwean singer Kazz a.k.a Mr Boomslang and German based Zim rapper Carlprit have scored a major success after collaborating with Bahraini based super Deejay, “DJ Jackson”.
The catchy track “Your Body”, a bouncy fusion of Reggaeton and electronic dance music (EDM), got signed to Eastern Europe’s hottest Pop music label, Cat Music and the video is sizzling HOT.
The ‘Your Body’ music video was shot in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the 2018 Formula One Gran Prix. Both Carlprit and Kazz were present for the filming, as well as for a surprise performance during the Grand Prix finale at one of Bahrains hottest beach and night life locations, the Coral Bay.
Arabian socialite and big screen diva, Shaima Sabt makes a guest cameo appearance in the video as do people from all walks of life including models from Spain, Venezuela, Colombia and Ukraine.
Carlprit, a German-Zimbabwean rapper, actor, songwriter and music manager has performed and written for acts such as Cascada, Alexandra Stan and Laurent Wolf. He is best known for his song “Fiesta” as well as his appearance in Cascada’s 2009 hit single “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.
The title sold over three million copies worldwide and reached the top 20 on Billboard charts, making Carlprit the first person of Zimbabwean origin to have a song on the top U.S. Billboard charts.
Known for his raw energy and magnetism, Kazz A.K.A. Mr Boomslang has established himself as one of the hardest working African Pop artists in Zimbabwe.
Born Farhaan Khan, he stormed onto the international scene as one half of the sibling duo Bkay & Kazz who won the “Live & Unsigned Competition” in 2007 in the United Kingdom.
The duo went on tour and released several successful albums like “Boomslang”, “African Spirit” and “Jigsaw”. Some of their biggest songs were “Ndikati Hello“, “Amina Kadeya”, “7 Wonders”, “You Know Its Right”, “See You at the Top”, “Mercy” and many more.
Since going solo, Kazz has had the opportunity to collaborate with “Queen of Dance” Rozalla Miller, “Nigeria’s Godfather” JJC Skillz, “UK Garage finest” MC Bushkin and many more.
