Dynamos traditionally are a trigger-happy club. It only takes a few bad results and a successful coach like Callisto Pasuwa, who has won three league titles in a row, could find himself out of a job in the twinkling of an eye.

And so it comes as no surprise that there are already reports suggesting Dynamos club chairman Kenny Mubaiwa wants former national team coach Norman Mapeza to replace Pasuwa.
Defeats to Chapungu and Buffaloes have not helped Pasuwa’s cause as the Harare giants bid to win a fourth consecutive premiership title on the trot.
Sources claim Pasuwa and Mubaiwa have not been getting along since the club chairman lost the bid to lead the Premiership to Twine Phiri in March.
A week before the election, Dynamos player’s boycotted training and sources said Mubaiwa felt undermined by that incident and believed Pasuwa should have done more to control his players.
But Pasuwa still has backers like board chairman Bernard Marriot.
On Sunday, a section of the Dynamos fans threw missiles towards Marriot at the National Sports Stadium.
