Gospel singer Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave is set to tour the United Kingdom next month and perform at two shows in which she will be supported by UK based gospel singers Obert Mazivisa and Caroline Rumbi.
Speaking to Nehanda Radio on Tuesday, Judy Mukumbi from JJH Promotions said Fungisai will perform at the Holy Trinity Church in Leicester (LE1 6WY) on the 14th of September and Concord House, Essex (RM8 1ST) the 15th of September the following day.
“Both shows have doors opening at 1600hrs and ending at 2230hrs. For admission we are charging adults £15 (advance) and £20 at the door while children will pay £5,” Mukumbi told Nehanda Radio.
Fungisai has been in the music industry for the past 13 years. She is also founder of the Vulnerable Women Development Trust which assists disadvantaged women and children in Zimbabwe.
The gospel diva has 9 albums to date and has travelled and performed both regionally and internationally. She is involved in various charitable activities and sits on various boards that include the National Aids Council of Zimbabwe.
