CHIREDZI – Three people were seriously injured over the weekend at Beverly ‘Bev’ Sibanda’s show in Chiredzi as they jostled to catch a glimpse of the raunchy dancer.
So ecstatic were the entertainment starved fans such that some of them ended up watching Bev and her Sexy Angels hanging precariously on tree branches. The red hot dancer performed at the giant Mazisanengere Night Club throughout the weekend.
Some people had to view the dancer in action hanging on tree branches and one of them fell from the tree on Sunday afternoon. Two other people were injured on Saturday when the police attempted to disperse the crowd that wanted to gain free entrance into the show.
On Friday, the show ended prematurely as the crowd overpowered security, according to Bev’s manager Harpers Mapimhidze.
Mapimhidze confirmed the incidents: “Yes it is true; there was a stampede at Bev’s show on Saturday. Police tried to clear people that wanted to gain free entrance into the show and some people ended up being hurt.
“However all the shows were successes and we were very impressed with the turnouts. Beverly escaped unscathed. She thanked the people of Chiredzi despite her shows being marred by crowd trouble.”
