Muropa was apprehended by Molly Nyamayaro backstage at around 2am, attracting the attention of fellow musicians. She then confiscated Muropa’s jacket.

Molly claims that Alick Macheso’s backing vocalist, who once ditched Orchestra Mberikwazvo for Sulumani Chimbetu’s Orchestra Dendera Kings before returning, owes her the money from June. She declared that she would not listen to his threats unless he pays her.

“Ndoda mari yangu indava uchida zvemahara iwe? Or else you are not going on stage. I will return your jacket when you come with my money. That’s not fair at all. As a celebrity you should have owned up to your promises,” she was heard saying.

Muropa, however, became angry and unfriendly when he realised that the H Metro crew was also following all the proceedings. He threatened the H Metro guys with unspecified actions should the story see the light of the day.

He was immediately whisked away by bouncers. Molly, however, left the show while Muropa was still on stage. H Metro
