The distraught woman, Audrey James from Harare’s Avondale suburb, claims her household property was thrown out from her number 32 Kent Avenue home without any due notification this Monday.

She alleges that her partner of 20 years, Mr Hanis Ahmed Allana with whom she has a 15 year old daughter, fraudulently sold her house leading to her eviction.

When ZBC News visited the house, Audrey’s personal property and belongings were scattered outside the premises. Audrey, who now fears for her life as she is sleeping in the open, said she has since filed legal papers to oppose the eviction.

Contacted for comment, Mr Allana dismissed Audrey James’ claims but refused to give comments, saying his lawyers are handling the matter.
