The drama unfolded last Sunday in a shop at the corner of Robert Mugabe Avenue and Fourth Street. Munyukwi working in cahoots with his wife Nora Muza was holding their baby and draping a towel on his shoulders. Witnesses say he was stuffing his stolen goods under the towel.

Munyukwi is alleged to have stolen from the shop twice on Sunday morning before the security guard followed him to First Street where his partner in crime was waiting for him. After suspecting that something was fishy, the wife is said to have fled leaving behind the stolen goods.

The goods which included five jackets, four pairs of sneakers, t-shirts and under garments, were stashed in a bag.
