X Factor reject Gamu Nhengu found hordes of fans on her doorstep as anger grew over her elimination from the show and her upcoming deportation from the UK.

Gamu faces having to return to Zimbabwe after her mum’s visa expired and allegedly failed to comply with Home Office rules to be able to reapply. But despite judge Cheryl Cole not choosing the 18-year-old hopeful to go through, Gamu has been showered with support all over the country.
