Jada Pinkett Smith warned Will’s best friend he’d ‘end up missing’ if he kept gossiping about them

LOS ANGELES – Hollywood has been shaken by fresh drama swirling around Jada Pinkett Smith — and this time, the allegations sound like a plot straight out of a thriller movie by Will Smith.

According to explosive court papers, Jada allegedly threatened Will Smith’s long-time friend, Bilaal Salaam, warning he would “end up missing” or “catch a bullet” if he didn’t stop talking about her personal business.

The papers claim the threats were delivered straight-up, no sugar-coating.

Salaam, also known as Brother Bilaal, has dragged Jada to the Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing her of emotional distress and demanding US$3 million in damages. He’s representing himself.

In his filing, Salaam paints a dramatic picture: he says the confrontation went down in September 2021 in the lobby of a Calabasas hotel during Will Smith’s private 53rd birthday gathering.

Jada, flanked by a squad of seven, allegedly stepped to him, got verbally aggressive, and demanded he sign an NDA “or else.”

Sensing the situation was about to escalate, Salaam claims he made for his car — only to have one of the entourage follow him, reportedly continuing the threats.

Bilaal isn’t a random figure either. He describes himself as Will Smith’s “best friend for nearly 40 years,” a bond he says is backed by Will’s own memoir Will and shout-outs from comedian D.L. Hughley. He even made a cameo in Will’s 2000 film The Legend of Bagger Vance.

But according to Salaam, the fallout from that confrontation was devastating. He says he developed PTSD, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, gained 100 pounds, and went into “self-exile for nearly two years.”

He alleges that the ordeal cost him his long-term relationship and time with his children.

Speaking to the Daily Mail after filing the lawsuit, Salaam declared he was “seeking justice for the atrocities committed against me by Will and Jada,” adding that while the current case targets Jada, he plans to file against Will next.

And if that wasn’t enough, Salaam claims the intimidation didn’t stop there — alleging he was threatened again right after the infamous 2022 Oscars slap, when Will stormed the stage and hit Chris Rock over a joke about Jada’s alopecia.
