Empress Felizwe open for consultations: Kelly Khumalo begins new “job” as a traditional healer
SOUTH AFRICA – After embracing her calling last year, controversial musician Kelly Khumalo has announced that she is now open for consultations as a traditional healer.
Adopting the operating name Empress Felizwe, Khumalo recently announced via social media that she is officially accepting spiritual consultations, complete with a form detailing the types of consultations she offers.
“This is one hard journey, with no map or destination, all you can do is trust God and your angels or guides to help you navigate. I may not have all the answers, I just know that God trusts me with this.
“Namukelekile nonke bantwana bamakhosi ababizelwe ukuzokhula esiGodlweni salapha ekhaya. Emakhosini namu amuda butsu. EmpressFelizwe,” she posted.
Last year, the singer announced that she accepted her ancestral calling and had graduated as an inyanga.
“wu Hlanga lomhlabathi SIwane saMandla, wabizwa wasabela [you were called and you answered], now you are a certified healer,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
In a prior interview on Ukhozi, Kelly said she underwent rigorous training and initiation to become a traditional healer.
“I could’ve lost my life due to a lot of things, God saved me. So I have so much to be grateful for,” she said.
“After 15 years of searching and trying to figure out who I am, today I’m finally graduating and am a certified inyanga. inyanga. It’s a universal gift, hence it took this long for me to figure it out and make sense of it.
“I was trained in many places, including in water, nature, by prayer and through my roots, because it’s important to know where I come from to know where l’m going,” she said.
