South Africa based Zimbabwean actor Luthuli Dlamini has reportedly found himself in financial dire straits where he is now reportedly homeless and living in a drug den in Durban.
According to ZiMoja, acting gigs have reportedly dried up for the actor who once starred in the legendary South African soapie, Generations.
Earlier this year, The South African reported that the actor was jobless and refusing to vacate the property of one of the TV producers on the drama series Empty Love.

According to a source, Dlamini has been living in the drug den for a while.
“He has been staying there for some time; we all know him; all the neighbours recognise him, but no one judges his situation; it can happen to anyone. He lives there with a group of guys, and they respect him,” said the source.
On Wednesday, Luthuli took to his timeline to share a video of him hand washing clothes when shedding light on the matter, while seemingly in character.
“First, I thank everyone who has shown support for me, everyone who has offered me a house to live in, someone who has offered me their spare room. I really appreciate that,” he said.
“I just want to dispel all of those concerns about me being homeless. I’m not homeless, not at all. I am living in a beautiful place in Durban, lots of sunshine.
“I’m happy. I’m fine. I’m good. I’m fine. I promise I’m not homeless. Be sure of your sources of information. Don’t compromise your integrity for 15 cheap minutes of fame. To be continued.”
