HARARE – Yadah FC’s talismanic forward Khama Billiat and Simba Bhora head coach Tonderai Ndiraya have been voted the Premier Soccer League (PSL)’s Player and Coach of the Month for July.
Billiat has been outstanding, banging in goals week in week out helping the Miracle Boys to crucial wins.
In July, he scored three goals in their 1-1 draw with Hwange, 2-0 victory over Bikita Minerals and last Sunday’s 2-1 win against Bulawayo Chiefs.
The 34-year old attacker currently has nine goals to his name this season.
He is jointly leading the goalscorers’ chart along with CAPS United striker William Manondo.
On the other hand, Ndiraya finished unbeaten in the month of July.
The former Dynamos gaffer led Simba to three wins and one draw, leaving the team as strong title contenders.
The Shamva based side defeated ZPC Kariba and Manica Diamonds with a similar 1-0 scoreline and came from a goal down to defeat Highlanders 2-1.
They were held to a one all stalemate by Green Fuel on the road.
