South African singer Bucie set to divorce her Zimbo chartered accountant hubby

South African songbird, Busisiwe “Bucie” Nqwiliso, is set to be a single lady once again, after her husband, Zimbabwean chartered accountant, Lucky Nhlanhla Nkomo, filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences between them.

According to Sunday World, the two’s fairytale marriage has come undone, due to the influence of outside forces, which forced Nkomo to file for divorce recently.

The couple, who got married in 2016, have three children together, while Bucie also has a son who was born in 2006.

“He says that instead, Bucie has been listening to the dictates of her friends and that no one can reason with her.

“He also said there was a total lack of any meaningful or constructive communication between them, and as a result, he did not see the reason to continue with the marriage,” said one source that spoke to Sunday World.

According to a co-parenting schedule that the two have reportedly mapped out as part of their divorce, Nkomo will stay with the children while Bucie will be allowed to visit them whenever she deems fit.

“They have already agreed that Lucky must live with the children and allow Bucie access to see them whenever it is suitable for both of them.”

According to the source, the Get Over It hitmaker and her estranged husband have also agreed that she will retain their property in Roodepoort after finalising their divorce.

“They have also agreed that they will each retain their vehicles and furniture,” said the source.

The news of the impending divorce came barely a week after Bucie announced that she was bouncing back on the music scene.

The 37-year-old star said she had been working on building her record label during her absence from the music industry she was focusing on building her record label Bucie Pty Ltd.

“Music is my life, so it naturally takes up most of my time. However, I’ve also been focusing on my record label, Bucie Pty Ltd, and planning to grow my business to support emerging artists.

“Additionally, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and exploring new creative ventures,” she told The Sowetan. Telly Africa
