Zimbabwe Warriors forward Tawanda Maswanhise has taken to his social media platforms to confirm his departure from Leicester City after spending 12 years with the English top flight league club.
The 21-year old has been with the Foxes since he was 9, playing for the club’s developmental sides until he was promoted to the first team.
Confirming his departure, Maswanhise wrote on Instagram: “After 12 Years @lcfc my time has come to an end.
“I want to thank the players and coaching staff throughout my journey at the club. I would also like to thank the fans for their massive support as I really enjoyed representing the club. Thanks for the beautiful memories.”

Maswanhise once featured in Leicester City’s senior team match day squad under coach Brendan Rodgers during the 2021/22 Premier League season.
Last month, the talented forward was trying his luck at Stockport County where he reportedly impressed.
Stockport County will be playing in the English League One next season after winning the league two championship.
