Friends of Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori believe that the rapper treats her as “a dramatic installation of art”, which is why she seems to dress “normally” when she is not under his influence.
Censori has been grabbing the headlines since her marriage to West for her provocative outfits, which sometimes seem to border on nudity.
Censori, who tied the knot with West in December 2022, swapped shoes for bandages while enjoying a date at Disneyland with the musician in April. She also donned a completely see-through tube dress during a dinner date in Los Angeles.
The latest sighting of Censori in Prato, Italy, saw her walk into a building almost naked as she trailed her superstar husband.
However, during a recent trip to Australia, Censori seemed to ditch her eye-catching wardrobe for more “normal” outfits, leading friends to conclude that she was acting as nothing more than an art accessory to West.
“It was very obvious to us that she was acting like she was off the clock from a job,” a friend said of Censori, telling Page Six that the model donned a sweater dress to eat pasta with her parents at a cafe in her hometown of Melbourne.
“When you look at all the press [about Censori and West], you would believe she has lost her mind, so it was good to see her with her family and being the person we remembered.
The clothes were back to normal … there was nothing to suggest her time with Kanye has had a lasting effect,” the friend added.
Despite Censori’s parents’ past concerns about West, the friend said the family “haven’t been cut off and it was clear they still have plenty of contact with her. They would have been acting differently if this was some rescue from a cult-like leader!” Daily Mast
