HARARE – Bottom placed side Yadah FC endured a disappointing start at their brand new home ground The Heart Stadium after losing 2-1 to Simba Bhora on Saturday.
It wasn’t a perfect homecoming for the Miracle Boys who were using their new facility for the first time following its approval by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA)’s First Instance Body (FIB) last week Thursday.
Simba Bhora striker Tymon Machope and Walter Musona scored in both halves to spoil the party for Yadah FC.

Machope broke the deadlock at the half hour mark while the 2021/22 Soccer Star of the Year, Musona doubled the lead in the 50th minute.
Promising midfielder Blessed Ndereki scored a long range shot from outside the box in the 77th minute to pull one back for Yadah FC who are yet to taste a victory in the recently started season.

However, despite it’s beauty, Ndereki’s goal was not enough for the Miracle Boys to level matters on their first match at the top notch 5 000 seater.
All eyes were on Yadah FC’s marquee signing Khama Billiat although the 33-year-old did not finish the match after sustaining an injury in the first half.

Yadah FC’s defeat meant their winless streak against Simba Bhora who were promoted last season continued.
In 2023, Yadah FC lost 1-0 in the first leg while in the reverse fixture the two teams drew 1-1.
