Former Chelsea coach Avram Grant says Zimbabwe is a very good team

Former Chelsea coach Avram Grant who is currently with the Zambia national team has said “Zimbabwe is a very good team” ahead of the two nation’s crunch clash on Saturday in Malawi.

Dubbed the Zambezi derby, Zambia and Zimbabwe are scheduled to face off in a Four Nations tournament at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

Kick off time is at 2pm.

“It will be a very good test because, first, Zimbabwe is a very good team,” Grant told the media in Malawi.

“I saw their squad, they have so many players who play in England and Turkey which I’m sure it will also happen to us one day.”

Debutants Tawanda Maswanhise who (Leicester City), Marley Tavaziva (Brentford B team), Shane Maroodza (Huddersfield Town) and Joey Phuthi (Sheffield Wednesday) are in the team.

Defender Brendan Galloway (Plymouth Argyle) and striker Macauley Bonne (Cambridge United) also returned to Warriors fold after a lengthy absence.
