HARARE – Man of the moment, Khama Billiat, is already making waves in the domestic league just a week after inking a one year deal with Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Yadah FC.
Billiat who was officially unveiled on Thursday evening at Yadah Hotel, saw his home and away jerseys both selling for a whopping US$25,000 at auction.

Former deputy minister of sports Tino Machakaire, now the minister of youths, took home one of the jerseys for US$10,000.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the former Kaizer Chiefs man said; “I’m happy to be back home. Yadah is a special team, it is now my new home and I will give everything for this club.”
Billiat has been without a club since June 2023 after leaving Chiefs due to unclear circumstances.
The auction comes a day after Billiat received a Land Rover Defender as part of his signing on package at Yadah FC.
Billiat was signed as a free agent for US$20,000 and he will be the highest paid player in the PSL earning a staggering US$3,500 a month.
