‘Bad Boy’ Denver Mukamba gets discipline based contract at DeMbare

A few weeks after being released by Mhondoro based side Ngezi Platinum Stars, former Warriors captain Denver Mukamba is reportedly on the brink of rejoining Harare giants Dynamos FC on a “discipline based contract”.

According to the state owned tabloid newspaper, H-Metro the lanky attacker is training with the Glamour Boys.

A DeMbare official told the publication that “Mukamba is here training with us very well. We are very impressed with what we have seen from him so far.

“We have all agreed to give him a contract. We have started the negotiations and we want a win-win situation at the end of the day.”

The 30-year-old who was offloaded by Ngezi recently allegedly for indiscipline has been shipped from one club to another owing to his errand behaviour.

The nomadic midfielder carries a ‘bad boy’ tag following his misbehaviour.

He is popularly known for going AWOL at almost every club he has played for.

Nevertheless, it appears his former pay masters, Dynamos who have decided to bring him back at the club despite his ‘unwanted’ behaviour this time have a solution to deal with his indiscipline.

“His contract will be disciplinary-based, and he will be released if he goes against what we agree on, but I can assure you that we are signing him.”

Mukamba who won the 2012 Soccer Star of the Year gong could bring with him experience in the newly appointed DeMbare coach Herbert Muruwa’s side.

This comes after the talented right footed midfielder has played for quite a number of clubs locally and regionally.

In South Africa, Mukamba played for Jomo Cosmos and Bidvest Wits while locally he turned out for CAPS United, Ngezi Platinum and Chapungu United.
