Wife’s chats with ex torment man

Must Try

By Hazel Marimbiza

A Bulawayo man is sweating over his former friend who is interested in his wife.

Prince Ncube (31) from Emakhandeni suburb cut all ties with his friend Dudu because he just couldn’t hide his feelings for Ncube’s wife Wendy Dube (22).

The best way was to push him away. In ending the friendship Ncube hoped that his wife would also cut ties with Dudu but his efforts were in vain as his wife and ex-friend continued to exchange messages on WhatsApp.

The couple’s marriage has been strained by this issue such that Ncube has resorted to beating Dube up every time she receives a message from his “enemy”.

Unable to endure further beatings Dube reported the issue to the police leading to Ncube’s arrest.

Appearing before Western Commonage courts Ncube expressed anger at his wife’s behaviour.

“Dudu was my friend but we ended our friendship long back and I advised my wife not to talk to him. It is then surprising to note that my wife is still chatting with him. One message that got me angry was when Dudu told my wife that he misses her. If I was to receive a similar message from a woman how would she feel?” raged Ncube. In response Dube said she lacked attention from her husband.

“This man does not know how to talk to me. He spends his time watching television at a time when he is supposed to be giving me attention. It’s not like I am in love with Dudu, but my husband is just insensitive. He just doesn’t have time for me,” Dube lamented.

Presiding magistrate Lungile Ncube granted an interim order. B-Metro
