After months of extensive globe-trotting and wobbly walks, a frail looking President Robert Mugabe (92) has started his month-long annual leave.

Presidential spokesman, Mr George Charamba, said the leave would be interspersed with official engagements.
‘‘President Mugabe has started a month-long annual leave, part of which will be spent outside the country. The leave shall be interspersed with official engagements, including one which is related to the African Union,’’ Mr Charamba said.
The AU convenes for its 28th Summit from January 22 to 31 2017 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa is Acting President.
It is thought Mugabe, will as usual, spend his holiday in the Far East where he regularly goes for treatment. Singapore and Dubai are favoured destinations for his family.
