They will perform at Harare International Conference Centre on August 6.

The multiple award-winning Ugandan entertainer will return with her partner in the art Cotilda Inapo, who accompanied her on her debut tour for a performance at 7Arts Theatre in November last year.

At HICC, the comedians will headline a show dubbed “Let`s Laugh Again Ha-ha-ha-Harare”.

They bring along their humorous acts for a night guaranteed to be filled with smiles, giggles and rib-cracking laughter.

The Ugandan ladies’ performance in the country last year left lasting impressions while Baba Tencen (born Pepukai Zvemhare), who is popular for his skits on social media, will be making his debut performance in the country.

Tonderai Mwaita from Xtratime Entertainment, who are behind the show, said they are bringing back Kansiime following requests from comedy fans.

“Anne Kansiime is indeed the Queen of African Comedy and we are merely answering calls from comedy enthusiasts to bring her back, so basically we are bringing her back due to public demand. We have continuously been receiving inquiries on when she was due to return from those who missed last year’s show as well as those who attended,” he said.

“We also found this as an opportunity to host Baba Tencen for the first time in the country. Many people follow him on social media, but he has never performed on a local stage.

“We are happy to host him for the first time in the country.

“Anne has promised a completely original set with new jokes and more crazy stories and together with her princess in comedy Cotilda Inapo, they will dance, they will sing and most importantly they will make Harare laugh once again.”

Local comedian Q will also be part of the line up while, to add variety to the show, top beat-boxer Pro Beatz will bring along his humorous beatboxing act on the night as he has proved to be a fan-favourite at most comedy shows held earlier this year in Harare.

“A lot more surprise acts will be in store the night as we continue to showcase Zimbabwes’ diverse talent so show-goers are in for a unique treat.

“Following successful shows in Harare where we have hosted international comics like Goliath & Goliath, Barry Hilton and John Vlismas, Xtra Time are promising more than just a show, but a quality experience for those who love good entertainment we encourage fans to forget their troubles by attending and enjoying this night of good fun and good vibes.

“Advance tickets will be selling from Reflections gift shops branches namely at Avondale shops (in Salmor Gallery near Econet shop), Sam Levy’s village (near Electrical sales) and ZB Life Towers in the city centre (Corner Sam Nujoma Street/Jason Moyo) where you can swipe, pay cash or transfer via Ecocash.” The Herald
